Integrated Color Display features and operation

Integrated Color Displays are available on the following Rad Power Bikes models:

  • RadKick 7-Speed
  • RadKick Belt Drive

These displays offer real-time speedometer, remaining battery to empty estimate, pedal assist level, and headlight/taillight indicator on the main ride screen, and trip odometer, trip time and trip distance on a secondary ride screen accessible by pressing the Menu button.

You can use the buttons on the display to change system settings while the bike is stopped. The pedal assist and throttle functionality will be disabled while in the menu screens.

  1. Enter Menu screen. Press and hold the Menu button to enter the Main Menu screen.

  2. Menu options. Press the Up or Down buttons to move through the menu options, and then press the Menu button to make changes to each setting. When finished, press the Up button to move to the 'Exit' option to return to the Main Menu screen.

    • Basic Settings: The following display settings can be changed on this menu.

      • Unit: Use this setting to switch between displaying distance in miles or kilometers.

      • Maintenance: Use this setting to display a maintenance reminder at a designated interval. By default, the maintenance reminder will be set for 300 miles (483 kilometers), and will display once and then reset. Change this setting to OFF to disable any maintenance reminders.

      • Backlight: Use this setting to adjust the backlight level on the display.

      • Autosleep: Use this setting to adjust the amount of time before the Color Display shuts off when inactive. By default, this will be set to 20 minutes.

    • System Information: Display and Controller specifications. This information is for reference only, and cannot be changed.

    • Reset: Use this menu to reset all of the display menu data and settings back to factory defaults.

  3. Exit programming mode. When you’re done changing settings, exit the menu by pressing and holding the Menu button.
